This year's summer break is exactly the same as last year's (83 days). Unlike last year though, they will start the 2026-27 school year before Labor Day, since Labor Day is so late this year.
Anyway, here is Kai with Ms. Judd. Since Heidi and I were room parents this year, we had the privilege of walking in the teacher gifts three separate times this year. It gives us a chance to see the school and Kai's room.
At the end of the day it seemed especially busy since everyone wanted to see the kids out.
The teacher's always line the driveway to the school on the last day to wish the kids off to their summer break.

After school, Kai went to Little Red for his last day there. For the school year he was in Green Room, which is upstairs. He will be in Silver Room (a different building) for the summer, which starts on June 11.
He is playing outside in the dirt, again. Most days when I picked him up he was in this general area.
Tomorrow is the first day of summer break. We will have an airport drop off and perhaps we'll get the materials for our summer reading program.
