Today will be a little more low-key, but I think it was still very adventurous.

First off, Heidi and Kai did a little painting in the morning.

I turned on the TV to "Tiny House Nation" --- it was an interesting watch. Something to do while painting.

At 12:30, we met Heidi's 2nd cousin, Laurie Nave, her husband Scott and son Alec at The Cheesecake Factory. They live very near this place. We visited for a little over 2 hours, very interesting and happy this meeting could come together so quickly. We just caught them on an off day after they came back from Alaska and were about to drive their other son out to Atlanta, GA.

Laurie teaches 5th grade, Scott is a Business Law attorney, Alec is trying to get back to London, England (but visa requirements have changed, so it is more challenging now).

At about 3PM, we decided to head up to Simi Valley to the Reagan Library. It is fun putting together all of these places after hearing about them for years. On the way up to the Reagan Library, there are small flags highlighting each American President, 1-47, really neat. 

For the library, Reagan got a huge chunk of the Berlin Wall...the west side is the one that is all colorful, the east side, just plain.

He had a bunch of Air Force planes and a tank and some gold documents. I took this photo of the Declaration of Independence.

Finally, our railroad photo at Santa Susana Railroad Depot. We were just happy to find something here.

Tomorrow will be a very early start.
