One of the things we like to do every Summer is to head out to Sheboygan to visit Bookworm Gardens. The gardens are stories that have come to life.

It all starts at "The Magic School Bus" prior to paying your admission. This is always popular being at the wheel and then being able to open the school bus doors.

For instance, you can read "Harry the Dirty Dog" while cleaning off a dog.

there was also a game where you tried to find 20 Loraxes--you can see in the image above one of them

Or you can read "Harold and the Purple Crayon" in this colorful area of the garden.

Help build Eeyore's house...

and read Winnie the Pooh.

Kai also took at lot of pictures in the fairy garden area. These are his pictures.

They have added a few more scenes since we were there the last time, like "The Lorax" from Dr. Suess. The next time we're here, they'll have finished the "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, He'll As for a Glass of Milk."

We also saw this girl celebrating her Quinceanera.

Here is the fun one...

Later in the day, we went to Kohler-Andrae State Park. It was actually quite nice. Not many people out.

The only bad part of the day is we had trouble finding rocks again. We found some, but not exactly what we were hoping for. Regardless, a good day.
